Travis and Ryan were my first babysitting experience. I was about…thirteen?…and was a little nervous, but I showed up well equipped with games and a movie, fresh from babysitting training. We said goodbye to their parents and then stared at each other. What the heck to we do now. After a little bit of coaxing from the boys, their true energy emerged and we had a great time making up games and watching Disney movies. These boys would forever be my favorite kids to babysit.
I can’t believe Travis is already a senior, it just blows me away. Taking photos of him was like taking photos of my little brother, if I had one. We laughed, joked, reminised about the ‘old days’ of jumping on couch cushions and going mudding on the way to their house (they lived down the road, so it was always a surprise when I would get picked up to babysit. Would it be in a car? A truck? A snowmobile? Perhaps a four-wheeler? Who knew?). I’m so impressed with the wonderful person he’s turning out to be and these images just make me so, so happy.
Oh, and Travis, next time we have Sunday Funday…it’s on!!!! 🙂
Trish- these are awesome- What a CUTIE! Thanks!
Hey you. First of all, I love reading your blog. Your positive spirit makes me smile. Cheesy, I know but true. I love that picture of him with th3 water. Is there a way u can crop him out cuz have a brilliant idea for that picture. Not that I do not want a pic of him (what a citie) but I do not know him and it would be weird.
LOVE the bike pic….I don’t remember senior boys looking like that back in ’02.
