Wow. I mean…wow. What an amazing birthday weekend I’m coming off of! I have the best family and friends. Ever.
The past few days have simply exploded my heart.
Looking back, I did alot in my 20s. Seriously, it’s a bit funny to think of where I was 10 years ago and all my life events that have taken place this last decade. My 20th birthday was traumatic for me as I loved my teenage years and was not ready to see them be over. Ahhh, quarter-life-crisis. Then I got to really live through my 20s and experienced so many delicious adventures; graduation, traveling, dating, marriage, welcoming my nieces and nephews, creating my own career…
My 20s rocked way harder than my teenage years.
And I thought they were pretty awesome.
So I calmly, happily, fondly bid my 20s farewell. Thanks for the memories, the learning curves, the new friends and the reminders that life truly is a gift. I’m not sad they’re over; I’m overjoyed they happened.
Thank you 20s. It’s been real.
And it was so amazing sharing it all with you! Great way to dive into your 30’s.
