Totally and completely blindsided.

I mean, I had a funny feeling the something sneaky was going to happen, but didn’t think it’d be this! Mr. Nick took me out for a sweet birthday weekend in Minneapolis, complete with too much food and lots of window shopping and walking downtown (by the way, Horrible Bosses is completely inappropriately hilarious!)…a Saturday dinner on a rooftop…a sweet proposal and a very beautiful new ring, all sealed with a kiss.

So, yup—WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!!!!

I feel like a five-year-old who is jumping out of her skin with excitement because I was just told that tomorrow is going to be my birthday, Christmas and Thanksgiving all rolled into one with chances being insanely high of getting a 1969 El Camino and delicious plated food all day with no calories and that the day would be four hours longer than normal days and it would all take place in the summer…times 23. (Why would anyone give a five-year-old an El Camino, I have no idea. But that’s neither here nor there.).
I’m so EXCITED TO MARRY THIS GUY!!!!!!!

Absolutely no details at this point because, well, we haven’t made any decisions! 🙂 It’s how we roll…no worries.
