When I first received an email from Melanie, Claire’s mom, I knew I was excited to shoot her session. I mean, she sounded awesome and she was a friend of my cousin Lilli (who has no ugly/un-cool friends) so it was basically a done deal. Plans were to shoot at their cabin (sweet) and maybe surrounding areas (even sweeter). When I arrived, faithful assistant in tow, I was greeted by a bubbly blond with an obvious exuberance for life–and this was in about the first ten minutes of meeting her for nearly the first time! The best thing about Claire, from a photographer’s standpoint that is, is whatever I suggested, she returned with an energetic nod. For reals.
Claire: Thank you so much for asking me to photograph your senior images! It was an absolute treat (and I’m so not kidding or exaggerating here!). I wish you the best of luck at Stout (or wherever you decide) and know you will make a wonderful teacher. Have an AWESOME senior year!!!
