I have photographed my fair-share of high school seniors in the…yikes…6 years?…that I’ve been in business. Wow. Six years? Really? And where, exactly, did that time go?

Anywho.

😉

It begs to be shared that the 2015 group of seniors who chose me to be their photographer…who trusted me to help showcase their character, their flair, their zest for life…these guys…are tops. Rockin’ awesome. I had horse back riders, dancers {ballet and modern!}, serious sweethearts, readers, baseball and hockey players, city-goers, hilarious ladies, farmers daughters and even a pilot this year. These kids have talent and personality positively oozing out of them and, looking back, I consider myself quite blessed to have been able to freeze these moments in time for them.

When I heard that Christian wanted to have his senior session at the local hockey rink, I was pumped! Even though I’m a terrible skater/person-of-balance, I’m all for seniors sculpting these sessions into their own thing. When I confessed to him that I didn’t know much about hockey, he laughed, shook his head and said, ‘and you call yourself a Minnesotan’. I knew right off the cuff, he got me.

🙂

He was patient and together we talked, laughed, skated {well, he skated. I shimmied my way across the ice in my killer boots} and had a great morning photographing Christian in his senior year.
