It’s a new year. A shedding of the old skin, a rebirth of new goals. New agenda. New energy. Looking backward to reflect upon hopes in the coming months. I likes.

I rang in the New Year wrapped in several blankets, a mug of tea nestled snugly within my hands, warding off an excellent cold. We made chicken lettuce wraps and consumed hot tamales, sparkling water and episode after episode of Justified. I think the Mr. and I both fell asleep minutes shy of the ball dropping. It was pretty epic.

😉

I haven’t had too much time to myself over the holidays which, truth be real, was truly wonderful. So much family time. So many great memories to remember already. Ugh. So much laundry to catch up on. Yikes.

Anywho, I’ll be back in the saddle again come Monday. A roundup 2014 blog post and a reflective where do I go from here post to inevitably follow.

For now…I’m going to soak up the remainder of my time off. Perhaps do a little window shopping and a little baking. Maybe a little cleaning. {I said maybe.}

Here’s hoping your New Year started with some fun, lots of laughter and maybe even a little bit of dancing.
