Anyone else have a killer solid weekend!? The kind of weekend that makes your heart sing and your mind do a happy dance and your body completely shut down into a stellar Sunday night slumber?
I know I’m not the only one!
Two weddings, a couple family sessions, a couple senior sessions and all the love that was thrown down between them all…heck yes. I’ll take my job, any day of the week. Doubleheader wedding weekends are extremely enjoyable when packed with so many memorable times, caring family members, excited {and eccentric!} friends and the kindness it takes to move mountains in only the best ways possible.
Yeah, this weekend was good for my soul.
I think it’s because I just love love so gosh darn much. I love being a part of so many people’s love stories; where that be a mom worrying about which necklace her daughter should wear for her senior session, or a groom wiping a tear away during their wedding ceremony, or twin brothers doing a slow-motion fake fight for some seriously epic senior pics, or a dad patiently helping his three children climb trees for their family session…it all boils down to the love shared in the quiet moments inbetween.
During Chris and Bri’s engagement session this summer we endured the humidity {and ridiculous amount of mosquitoes!} and ended up with some truly great moments. Waterfalls and snuggles, prairie grasses and smiles, a wee bit of rain and some laughter.
That’s what it’s all about.
