In hopes of spurring Mother Nature and Father Time, I watched White Christmas, Home Alone, Elf, and The Holiday this week while packaging orders (holy mother, there have been some sweet orders!!), wrapping up this year’s editing, miscellaneous wedding tasks (er…I mean, making a list of miscellaneous wedding tasks…oh, dear…) and sipping on my most favorite of all favorite tea–Comfort and Joy (hello, Christmas in a cup!!) . Common theme here (other than Christmas, obviously) is the snow that falls or is ever present in these movies. Alas…we get more rain, and what little dollops of snowy happiness we once had are now washed away and brown dreariness remains.
Father Time…please flip your damn hourglass!
😉
In other news, baby bumps are still making my heart sing, regardless of this pitiful weather…so enjoy Chrissy and a very Happy Thursday to you all!!
Chrissy’s husband was stationed on the East Coast for the whole pregnancy and was super bummed to miss it–so we did what we could to incorporate him in the shoot. He made it home in time for the birth (photos soon!) and it’s obvious how much these two mean to each other.
