Family is pretty much the most important thing. Above all else and all that jazz. If you have a family like mine, there’s a couple divas, a sprinkling of dummies, a hefty handful of nuts, some smarties, a couple crazies, very few regular folk, a smattering of gear heads, a chef, some teachers, landscape artists, a UX designer, carpenters and engineers and a whole lot else…and they are mine all mine. We hang out, we drive each other nuts, we love each other fiercely. Above all else and all that jazz.
So when I get the opportunity to photograph someone elses’ favorite people, I pretty much jump at the chance. Especially when it includes my favorite Russian. 😉
Inside joke :: that vagabond in the adventure hat is one of our favorite humans. Even if he is the craziest Alaskan I know. And his family is hilariously quirky and awesome and energetic and smart arsey and I just love them.
