The day was frigid and seemingly forever gray. The rain storm the day before made for slick roads and overall icy conditions. Flights had been canceled and some guests were not able to make it due to the ill-timed weather, but it would take more than Mother Nature to deter Edwin and Shelby’s excitement and love for the day. If ever there was a couple who was meant to be…this would be them.
Edwin & Shelby: Thank you so much for sharing your wedding day with me and allowing me to capture memories to last forever. I wish the best of everything to the both of you and Ian as you start your new life as a family. Have a relaxing and fantastic time in Cancun this week–have a frosted chocolate monkey for me!! Many hugs and well wishes~Trish
I had this hanger made for Shelby from the ever talented Anna Hartshorn.
Edwin was so excited–he sent a text to the wedding party at 7:30am!!
By the time we all gathered downtown, it started to sleet/snow (and was seriously so cold) so we cut our outside session short. Still got a few good ones, though!
Married!!
Only in Minnesota could you have boots mixed in with heels…! 😉
Gorgeous cake: Ole Café
What’s New Year’s Eve without a few sparklers?! It was crazy cold—these two are seriously just awesome!!!
Total evidence of why I love my new 100mm lens: the ring shot.
I did catch some light-hearted grief from the wedding party (I’m seriously terrible with names), but they were all so much fun!! It was easy to see how much Edwin and Shelby are loved just by glancing around the room during the reception.
Plus, their wedding party could really break it down on the dance floor…what a perfect way way to ring in the New Year!! 😀
great job tricia!
The pictures are truly amazing!!
Beautiful photos!!
Awesome Job Tricia!!!!! My boots look good mixed in with all the shoes 🙂
