Yep, that’s right. South. Dakota.
Jessie and I set out on a road trip one sunny Friday afternoon only to run into one of the most adventurous storm driving experiences of my life! As we raced against time to achieve cover as to not subject the Focus to hail damage (we were lucky enough to miss the hail and only nearly blow away in the straight line winds and torrential downpour. Epic.) we laughed. Alot. In fact, nearly the entire 5 hour drive there (and back) was nonstop chitchat, wedding talk and laughter. It was easy, fun and oh, so beautiful.
Much like Grant and Jessie.
Oh, did I mention the scenery!? The storm blew through Friday night so we decided to shoot Saturday morning. It wasn’t quite hot yet and the light was gorgeous! We did run into a few branches (read: huge chucks of busted trees) in the middle of these off-the-beaten-trail-don’t-fall-into-the-sink-hole gravel roads, but no worries.
Grant brought his work gloves.
Like we could possibly shoot in farm country USA and not get any livestock. BUFFALO!!!!!
Awesome! Freakin’ awesome!
Thank you for coming out and doing those pictures, it was great to have such a good excuse to hang out with you too!
Love them! You did a wonderful job Trica but that is not really a surprise you’re great at what you do!!
I LOVE THESE PICTURES! I HAVE SUCH GOOD LOOKING FAMILY MEMBERS! EVEN THE BUFFALO!
Tricia,
Wow! Paul and I are so impressed. Except for the fact that, this beautiful girl is too young to be kissing some guy (who we kinda like, too). You captured Jessie and Grant so perfectly. The buffalo wasn’t bad either (Mary wants one of those pictures framed for Christmas, hint to which ever Liebenstein draws her name). It is so much fun to say we knew you when. Congratulations on such beautiful works of art.
You guys are all so sweet!!! Honestly thought, those two were awesome. It was mostly Jessie and Grant…okay, it was almost all Grant. 😉
Tricia, thanks so much for doing Jessie and Grant’s pictures. You caught them perfectly. It’s hard to pick out our favorites, I love them all!! Can’t wait to see what you do for the wedding. You found the perfect vocation for yourself.
