Here I sit, coffee in hand, a cool breeze floating through the living room as the sun streams through the window. A gross chicken crows from somewhere in the street. The forecast for the day remains in the low-80s with clear blue skies. Yeah…we’re not in the upper Midwest anymore, folks!

It’s been sunshine, delicious seafood, frosty beverages and WARMTH for this chick for the past few days and it has been utterly delightful. Especially since home is about a 90 degree difference and features snow and ice instead of sand and sun. Sorry guys, but I love vacation.

This family is always a highlight for me to photograph…I say that because Kate is my cousin as well as one of my favorite clients. She finds crazy-beautiful antique frames at thrift stores or garage sales and then orders large prints to fit…and they look stunning!!!! Seriously…love this fam…..
