If every there was a perfect autumn day in Minnesota, it was this day. Cotton ball clouds dotted the bluebird sky as the light breeze caressed the bright, crisp fall leaves. The ladies laughed and played games of their youth while reminising over memories of sorority days at college. Mimosas were enjoyed, hair was styled, makeup done and retouched. She stood with a soft smile at her grandparents livingroom window, watching him play catch with his groomsmen in the church parking lot. As she slipped into her wedding gown, the room grew silent…although one might swear upon hearing sounds of smiles and glances of sheer happiness. She gave her mother a hug and shared a sweet, long glance with her grandmother before grasping her bouquet and gliding out the door to meet her groom.
For the first time.
As soon to be, husband and wife.
