I’m digging this rainy weather, mmk?
The dull gray sky really makes those remaining fall leaves really pop, wouldn’t you agree? Rainy weather makes for mucho productive days and I have been soaking up the feelings of getting things done inside in preparation for an outdoor weekend. It’s the first weekend that we haven’t had plans/work/trips/weddings/etc. since…seriously…July 18. Yeah…at the very least I’m excited. Like way, way pumped.

Back to rainy days, though. The silver lining to any negative is its equal and greater positive…therefore, I believe cherishing the dark, soggy hours makes those bright sunshine days even that much more enjoyable. In the upper Midwest, we had an amazing late summer/fall and I could not have been more thrilled with our picture-perfect weather days…like the evening Lynsey picked for her senior session. Lovely temperatures for this radiant-smiling beauty and all her stellar ideas and props!! We had such a blast running around her childhood home, photographing this, climbing that, talking about everything under the sun that we nearly ran out of sunlight! Love it!!
