The church was alive with the soft hum of voices and quick spurts of last-minute hairspray heard between fits of giggles and footsteps of running kids. The hallways were dark mostly due to the impending gloomy storm clouds hovering in the overhead, but didn’t seem to bother anyone. The guys joked together outside, the ladies prepared and prepped children inside and Renee decided it was time. Time to be done with makeup and hair and planning. Time to officially start her life with Chad. Time to get things moving. Time to get married.
She put on her dress and shoes, earrings and bracelet. With a serious expression, she walked through the hallway, up the stairs and out the door to see her groom for the first time. And, as she slowly walked up behind him, he turned and the biggest smiles overtook both their faces. They both laughed, embraced and held on tight…I love weddings.
{Haha…this one was such a cutie-sassy-pants!! Loved her!!}
{In keeping with the black and white theme, Renee & Chad had a newspaper program that not only shared the timeline of the ceremony and the who-was-who of the wedding party, but also included how the couple met, things they like to do together and a wonderful thank you for their guests. What a fun idea!}
{Married!!!}
{Oh, Steve. I wish you had more siblings so I could photograph you in more weddings. Hil. Arious.}
{Both Renee and Chad –and Renee’s family!!– are huge Twins fans. Knowing this, I brought a baseball along to play with for the ring shots. What do you think?!}
