A perfect October day for a wedding. Registering a bit on the warm side, the sun was shinning and the clouds billowed and floated as if they had nothing else to do.
A perfect day to be in love.
I love when my couples opt to see each other before the ceremony for one main reason: their expressions are priceless and it really creates time for the two to absorb the day and have a few precious moments to themselves. After all, a wedding isn’t about how fantastic the cake is or how elaborate the planning, but a celebration of two people coming together, vowing commitment, honor and love. Forever.

After the ceremony, we went to Rice Park in St. Paul for some more relaxed photos. What a great wedding party (and good looking, to boot!), I think we laughed the entire time!
