What a beyond excellent weekend, wouldn’t you agree? Well, aside from the weather being a bone-chilling arctic letdown, it was pretty stellar. I thoroughly try to pack as much in one weekend as humanly possible as it’s usually the only time the Mr. and I get uninterrupted face time without the barrier of my computer screen or his iPhone {dude loves this off-road Jeep racing game…}. It’s borderline ridiculous how little we actually see each other during the week, but…that’s life, I guess! This weekend we finally got to hang out with a couple of our best friends and grill on Friday, worked a bit on Saturday {me at the computer, him helping family move—awww, what a guy!} then struck out {haha} for some late lunch at B-Dubs. Generally, I love me some good wings, but I was seriously hankering for some fried pickles and was pumped that they came out fast, fresh and flippin’ piping hot. YUM! Then we continued on our jounrey north…had no trouble with traffic, found $5 parking, got tickets right away and BAM!! there we were, taking in our first Twins game in the ‘new’ stadium. Hecks. Yes. I could hardly get over how many people were there, yet how open and not-packed it felt. Plus…baseball is a sure sign of summertime, so…it was pretty super. The only downer of the night was when all my fingers fell off because of the frigid temperatures and wind chill. Just kidding. I still have most my fingers–it was pretty cold, though!

{Side note :: not sure about the exact moment I turned into a Minnesota wuss. Seriously…I think I’m just excited for SUN!!!}

Per usual, Mother’s Day brought some serious Mom-time with a delicious brunch and then grilling later on–it was all-around a perfect wrap up to the weekend!! In other news, I’m finally on the track to 100% health after my sinus infection {which I then apparently passed to my computer as my site was down for a couple days last week!?} and then a quick 18-hour flu thing last week…I feel like a whole new, productive, healthy individual! Three cheers for all around good-feelings!

Although I’m terribly looking forward to better-than-this weather {bring on the high-80s tomorrow!}, I’m content with the amount of digital work I’ve been piling through lately. It’s so awesome and I’m so thankful to have such amazingly fun, awesomely understanding clients who…honestly, just make my job unbelievably wonderful.

And, with that, I give you this smiley little guy. Bennett’s 1-year-old session was about 73 degrees cooler than it is today {that’s not an exaggeration}, so we ventured inside in lieu of having our faces flash-frozen. It was a pretty good trade. Can you believe he’s already a year!? It seems like last month we were just cooing over how incredibly teeny and sweet he was during his newborn session…well, some things didn’t change!!
