I woke up this morning and for the first time in ages, I nearly floated out of bed and bounced down the stairs. See, it’s sunny outside. And snowy. And bright. And, dare I say, warm at a rising 23 degrees. It’s supposed to get up to 39 today, people! And I have an engagement session lined up that could not possibly have better conditions for an afternoon shoot in February. Especially when we’re supposed to get hit with a snowstorm tomorrow. Bring it on, weather. This lady is ready, waiting and excited!

Claire’s senior session this past fall was, to sum it up with just one word, fabulous. We were talking about travels and interests and she mentioned that she loves to ski and had me terrified and laughing at some of the ski-shenanigans that she’s gotten herself into. Laughingly, she spun her ski-tales with no sense of fear or regret and I was instantly drawn to her curious and devil-may-care attitude…all the while with a shy smile and laughing eyes. We met at a country location, but really we could have shot anywhere and just let her inner-self shine though.
