How was your weekend?
Did you bask in a little of that sunshine? Were you able to sleep in? Consume nearly-ridiculous amounts of coffee?
I had a beautiful past three days and I am currently experiencing a little case of the Mondays. Why do weekends go so quickly–especially ones as fun as this one? I photographed my last wedding of 2016 on Saturday and did it go out with a bang! Not only were the Castle Rock Gardens the perfect backdrop for this lovely event, but I gave the night two giant thumbs up when we finished our dance coverage with a flash mob! It was crazy amazing and so much fun!! Sundays events included setting up and executing a poolside baby shower with two other ladies in honor of our good friends and their soon-to-be Little Miss. What a blast to enjoy 80 degree weather {in September, on a weekend, in Minnesota…say whhaaattt?!} with a bunch of really fun friends and family, two giant boxes of doughnuts and an 8 foot inflatable unicorn.
It was awesome.
Perhaps that makes Mondays just that much better when I person gets to have such a great time over the weekend?
I’ll just keep repeating that to myself.
Anywho, this day that shall not be named is a bit easier when I see that it’s time to share images from this little beauty’s 6-month session! Goodness; isn’t she just a doll! So happy, so smiley, so squishy and lovey. And those outfits!? Those legs!! Awwww…darling images of other people’s kids is the best way to start any slow day.
