What a glorious day! The sun is shining, the dog is lazing in the bright window light, and it’s 9am and I’ve already been up for a couple hours–hecks yes!

As always, this weekend flew by–lots of family time with both sides, a beautiful Easter service followed by too much food and many good laughs. We were even able to sneak in a couple hours for just the hubs and I to hang out–major score!

In other news, someone forgot to tell me that taxes were due this weekend (ha!), so I’ll be elbows deep in paperwork for the remainder of this beautiful day. Here’s hoping I can find all my receipts. And my tax guy will still take my calls. And I won’t run out of coffee.

These are the most up-to-date of little Jaxypoo (I have no idea why that’s my nickname for him and I inwardly cringe nearly every time I say it {read: hate baby talk, but I do it anyway?}, but nonetheless, Jaxypoo it is!). His mom had some great ideas to incorporate the fish/water lover in her and the machinist/mechanic/farm boy in my brother to come away with some really unique and special images of Jax’s 6{ish} month milestone!

And, as always, I’m a sucker for baby feets!
