It rained.The sun never made an appearance, the cloud cover never once broke and the rain, oh, the rain! It alternately arrived in buckets, drizzles, sheets and gusts. The temperature was abnormally chill for {what should have been} a beautiful spring day. The chill hung heavy in the air and soaked a person from the inside out.

And yet.

And yet, she wore a brilliant smile on her face. Dressed in a wedding gown she had spent months planning, creating and sewing every intricate stitch, his eyes lit up the moment the rested on her. Together, hand in hand, they took the weather in a stride and embraced their wedding day with joy and so, so much love.
