This session caused me a bit of pause, with a smile. See, when I was enrolled in the photography program at DCTC many moons ago, Nadia was one of my many guinea pigs. She’d come into the studio and let me practice newly learned techniques and lighting tricks. Some better than others, I’ll admit, as the photography learning curve isn’t a curve at all, rather a big scribble of lines and sharp climbs and steep plummets. C’est la vie and all that jazz, right?

No longer the sweet little pre-schoolers, but still beautiful subjects to photograph. Ahhhh, how my heart flutters for those repeat clients!
