It feels about a thousand years ago and yet it was pretty much one year to the day. One year ago, I drove over 1,600 miles with one of my best friends’ daughters to…

a} photograph a stellar micro wedding {featured in the post before this},
~} find the most random experiences and places to sleep along the way {yet to be blogged about, but hopefully soon!} and
3} hang out with some of my favorites {here. This post. Right now.}

I’m not sure what was the best. The travels there and back, the laughter we shared in-between, the surprise graduation celebration, the wedding itself, the drive into Seattle to pick up another favorite to drive home with…or all the inside jokes, memories and fabulous images that results from the culmination of the aforementioned items.

To say it was the trip of the year…well, a good wander down the hall and back could have beat most anything that came out of last year…or this year, for that matter…let’s continue…yeah, it was pretty fabulous.

I’m so happy we stole a few moments from a quick-to-turn-dark, typically cloudy PNW afternoon to cruise to a local beach for a couple quick snaps.

Oh, how I love the faces in these frames.
