Monsoon rains had deluged the area a mere two days before this wedding. 100 year flood, they were saying. Rural roads under siege, the rains poured down mercilessly. At the ceremony rehearsal at the church {their backup plan}, the sound of rushing water could be heard in the small aged building as the rain poured steadily into the basement.

And yet, two days later, the heavens parted.

The sky was bluer, the grass was greener, the air was sweeter, the flowers bloomed heartily as Troy and Tina had the beautiful outdoor ceremony that they had planned and stepped into life together.

{Troy isn’t a huge fan of taking photographs…but he was so awesome and hilarious in his ‘techniques’ to try to avoid us, that we all ended up laughing anyway…hilarious wedding!}

{The ring pillow had been passed along Troy’s family for years–each bride would change the colored ribbon and ruffle to reflect their wedding. Perhaps one of the coolest ‘something old’s’ that I’ve ever seen.}

{Yes…we took a 4-wheeler convoy from the ceremony. It…was awesome.}

{Hilarious you might be a Redneck if…speech given by Tina’s siblings…everybody was just rolling!}

How awesome is this? They had ice cream instead of cake with a bunch of different toppings, caramel & fudge and whipped cream! Perfection, and how sweet is the custom-topping-hanger made by Tina’s dad?!
