 119.
119 times last year, I zipped up my camera bag and stuffed my Shootsac. 119 times, I checked my batteries, formatted my cards, cleaned my lenses, searched for inspiration. 119 times, I made connections. I made babies laugh {and cry!}, parents cuddle their children, lovers embrace, grown adults play like children again. For one hundred and nineteen times this past year, I tried my hardest to freeze time and capture memories.
To all my couples, families, babies, children, and grown adults who made up one {or more} of the 119 sessions I had in 2012, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. You have made me choose this career and not look at it like a job. You have created the best possible work environment for me, many times over. Each of the 119 times I packed my Blaze full of gear, I thanked my lucky stars to be able to perform at an occupation I so dearly love and so very thoroughly enjoy.
