Remember that one time when I was all, ‘I’m going to blog so much more frequently now!’?!

Yeah, me neither.

Time is fleeting and oh, SO fast. What in the world. In our corner of the map, this winter was a one for the books, particularly the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark type. Woof. We said goodbye to our beloved puppy in January and did another round of goodbyes to a wonderful family man in February…here’s hoping for a sunnier, brighter March. Yeah? Yeah.

I suppose that loss goes hand-in-hand with love. Impossible to fine one without the other. It all goes full circle and, therefore, we will experience both heavy emotions over and over again. Should we be so lucky.

A bright spot in my winter landscape was getting to meet up with these two lovely souls on New Years’ Eve, of all mornings. It was a dark, gray morning, but their mutual adoration and sunny smiles broke the darkness and we have a marvelous time tromping around Big Woods State Park. It’s hard to believe this was already two months ago!!
