Since this is my first Saturday off from weddings in four weeks, I thought I might as well post one!

Brent and Jackie were married in August on, quiet possibly, the most perfect of all Friday afternoons. Everything went smoothly and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple–as clients or as friends. 😀

I got asked recently if I ever get sick of going to weddings. Ummm…no. 😉 Never. Every wedding is different-from the people involved to the decorations and the details to the venues to the feelings of the day. No two weddings are exactly the same–I think that’s what I like the most. Take this wedding–I absolutely love how Jackie and Brent really made the day cater to them instead of the other way around. They didn’t see each other before the nuptials (I prefer a first look, but it’s their wedding day, so my preferences are really more like suggestions!) and only close friends and family were invited to take part in the ceremony which was held a distance away from the house and therefore everyone got to also enjoy a slow ride on a hay wagon. An intimate dinner was then planned to take place at Jackie’s parents country home and then everyone moved to the Grand Event Center in Northfield to really celebrate.

Like I said, a perfect day.

While the guests took a hay wagon and Brent drove his mother to the ceremony site in the Impala, Jackie enjoyed this vintage yellow Bel Air owned and driven by her grandfather.

Beautiful ceremony

…haha…
